I think he gets a little emotional at the end there, and he has every right to!
Beautiful song, great story behind it and wonderful performance.
He gives it all the style and grace of a Chet Atkins composition, and it still is immediately recognisable as an Emmanuel tune.
I tip my digital hat.

In American English, saying that someone is "the shit" is a compliment, not an insult. Some things translate poorly, no? Alas, telling someone to "shut up" and subsequently calling them an "asshole" is still an insult in the States.
