Hey, i dont really fish for walleye on the fly so if I could get some good recomendations because Im eager to start!?

That was definetly a Walleye. I target them on purpose. I use clousers and a black leech pattern I tie with marabou and hour glass eyes tied on clouser style. You may want to see my video where I catch them on the Rainy River and the Rapid River in the other end of the same state.

use clousers or bucktails and even short zonkers.. I live in northern Alberta and Walleye, Goldeye and Pike are the only flyfishing fun around here unless you go to stocked trout ponds.. At night stonefly patterns work well and foam poppers frogs, mice... nothing beats Walleye and pike surfacing, especially at your feet at midnight

Do you purposely target walleyes with flies? If you do, what flies do you recomend?

I don't, they are a pleasant suprise when fishing for bass and carp. I have caught them on bead head nymphs and minnow patterns, all weighted. Just get lucky.
