On February 12, 2010, Beth Immanuel hosted "Brundibar: A Children's Opera in two acts by Hans Krasa" with libretto by Adolf Hoffmeister--the opera performed by the children of the Theresienstadt concentration camp. In addition, we were joined by Ela Weissberger, who played the role of the cat in the original concentration camp production. Weissberger recounts her experience in her book, "The Cat With The Yellow Star."

The Cecilia Chamber Singers rounded out the evening with several choral works based upon chassidic folk songs.
