We grow our own! ;) And yes, catnip ("nepeta cataria" in botanic terms) is THE safe, recreational drug for kitties! :D
This is from Wikipedia:
"Nepeta pleasantly stimulates cats' pheromonic receptors, typically resulting in a temporarily induced euphoric state. Catnip is also known to induce mild euphoria in humans."
Yeah, I DO drink catnip tea as well. ;)
