  • This radio is brilliant for listening to Hams on SSB because of the 2.3kHz filter and 10Hz tuning.

  • I just recently purchased an E1, great radio, almost like my ICOM! Sensitive, easy to use. I like the tuning resolution and pass band tuning, also 1700 memories!

  • @mikebuddy1 The external antenna jack on my E1XM does get warm. I don't think it's anything to worry about, though.

  • I like my E1. Lots of features for the money

  • My son just gave me one for Christmas!!!

  • Reading the Monitoring Times Magazines review it mentions that

'the external anntena adaptor got very warm'.

    could this be true?

  • I believe these are available from Multi-Powered Products, but they're not cheap, they're quite pricy. I personally would like to have a good look at some of the Sangean radios such as the ATS-909, again it's an expensive radio, but I understand they're quite popular.

  • Yeah, it's a great radio but 500 dollars is a little bit too much for it. I'll stick to my RedsunWr2100, I bought it from my China man.

  • Great!!!! More videos,please.

    Thanks
