Scotish Dojos have a opportunity to show their best fighters and one of the best fights of the tournament was a fight between Eamon Cramb IKO1 (Perth) v Mark Welsh KSK (Oban)
Hope yous enjoy

  • Someone needs to explain whats going on here, this doesnt seem to be like a proper fight.

Is there some sort of rules like no hitting the head?

Also seems kind of slow paced.

  • @MorganHStewart That's knockdown, so no face punches allowed since theyre not wearing gloves.

Slow paced? Tape Eamon Cramb British Open Champ on youtube and look for user brianc n his video of his championships n look what Eamon does to "fast paced fighters" :)

  • can there only be kicks to the head?

  • @MilkshakePlease How? What about 1st second of the fight? Theres an inside low kick?

  • *sigh* One on right is quite vicious. He needs to calm down...Take a chill pill, man. Anyways, now I remember how my classmates cat fight...It's so sad. XD

  • HQ? Not exactly...Heh. Though they are quite rough, this is much better than where I train. Kids stay to far away to fight...*sigh* We need this kind of fighting at my dojo.

  • nice he hit with a domawashi kaiten geri!

  • ha! the guy on the left was holding back! pretty good man. respect.

  • great fight

  • dam this is body shots with head kicks lol...

  • wow faggots karate kid is better than u

  • @Brandontrann

because you don't cover the hands in Kyokushin, so there is no punches to the head allowed in competition, because of the high frequency of potentially dangerous cuts, breaks and fractures to the hands and fingers, and the speed with which a knock-out can happen. Kicks and knees are still allowed, since these are less frequent and require more skill to pull off.

  • this vid has good technique, the fighters at the time were novices, and put up a very good show, I see some very ignorant comments.

If you dont understand you should ask questions, not take the piss!

  • looks like this guy is an expert
