It's a parody of a music act. They aren't parodying aborigines. They aren't parodying black Americans. They're parodying an act who happened to look black, a multicultural group of amateur performers including an Indian and Sri Lankan who're doing a 'gong show' act which is suppose to be in poor taste. We didn't enslave Africans like the US did. The British done b/f in a show with professionals but it didn't cause an international outcry, despite the British being in the African slave trade.

Sylvie really hates Australians... we're apparently all racist. That's some harsh prejudice to send around, particularly on an international scale.
There was no ill-intent here. Many Australian's are horrified to be labeled racist when they live and work with many difference races and cultures that are harmonious and beneficial to everyone. Do I laugh at my Indian friends? You betcha! Do they laugh at me? Definitely!
Do we then hang out at each other's come the weekend. Yup!
