Politics is and always has been about the lesser of two or more evils. We live in an imperfect world. While I am a social liberal, I am a fiscal conservative. But social issues really don't matter right now. The only thing that really matters right now is the economy. The liberalism of Bush and Obama have been a disaster. Joe Miller is better on economic issues than Sore Loser Murkowski or McAdams.

Yes, but it also shouldn't punish or discourage people who chose not to believe anything. I might consider a moderate Muslim with reservations and would probably vote for a Hindu over a Christian. For high office, cult members don't get to become president.

I also don't want creationism (religion) taught in class. It is not science. Evolution is a fact and has been proven. It should be taught as such.

O'Donnell was right. "Separation of Church and State" is NOT found in the constitution. It's a legal theory based off the establishment clause in the 1st amendment. Liberals interpret it to mean that nobody religious should be in public office. What it really means is that congress shall be silent on the subject of religion and neither promote it, nor discourage it. We are supposed to have a secular government.

As for the reporter incident, I WAS THERE. I was standing right next to the reporter when he tried to ask Miller a question. I don't believe handcuffing him was appropriate and I think he should sue the rent-a-cops for false imprisonment.

Social Security's unfunded liability is $13 Trillion. But the problems with Social Security are manageable compared to Medicare, which is about $100 trillion.
