You read the part on the tea party story where it was about a tax cut to the east india tea company, right? You see, the East India Tea Company was a multinational corporation and it was getting tax breaks to monopolize the local tea companies in the colonies. Its pretty much what is going on today with every multinational corporation here. But Teabaggers aren't protesting that. They're protesting the tax cut Obama gave them.

By your definition of moron, I am not a moron.
The tax day tea party was not to protest taxes, as such. It has often been stated and will be stated again - we understand that taxes are necessary and we don't mind paying taxes. What we do mind is wasteful spending, which is one of the issues you listed. So I'm assuming we're on the same side. If you're so concerned about the government's wasteful spending, you should have joined us! That's exactly what our protest was about.

The only thing this moronic Fox Newsless promoted event accomplishes is to divert people attention from the real issues such as health care, our shrinkg economy that has lost its manufacturg base, wasteful military&govermt spendg, waste, sub-standard education, growg poverty levels, etc. Instead people group together to whine about taxes which people have done for thousands of yrs. If you posse sublevel intelligence which allows Fox Newsless to manipulate you then by definition you are a moron

At least I don't have to call someone a moron to discredit them. I can use facts. If you want to have an actual discussion, I welcome that. I do not welcome namecalling.
And, just for the record, I work at Ukrop's, not Walmart. ;-)
Hang in there. The beauty of America is that we still do have freedom of speech---at least for now. We went to the Brunswick, Georgia tea party and the turnout was excellent. There are many others who believe as you do and as for the naysayers, they will just have to see for themselves on down the road. God Bless you young lady.

Thank you! It's always nice to have some enouragement. I'm really looking forward to our Richmond Tea Party tonight. I hope the turnout is good despite the rain.

It was an AWESOME gathering! I feared the rain would keep people away but it looks like NOTHING could stop us!

I know, it was great! I hope that people keep up the enthusiasm and don't let it end with the tea party.
