Wonderful!! Bobby sir, all I can say is WOW, God has certainly blessed you! Where do you find the time to tend to all your plants?! After watching your videos I'm exausted, and I havent done anything! I love your green houses, what craftsmanship! Keep up the great work, God Bless!!

@mojoe60 Thx. I have considered doing something like that. I think it would work. But probably the easiest way to deal with it is just to put containers along the sidewalls, and plant in-ground a bit further from the perimeter. Trying to keep it simple. ;-)

@imstillworkin Thanks..I'm gonna transplant my onions into the long bed of tomatoes. Supposedly they are good friends. I've been very impressed with the everbear strawberries. Picked a handful this morning. And I dug up some more crowns and planted them in one of the beds. Hopefully they like their new home. :-)

@bowhunter2439 I'm the same way. If I can't help ya, I sure aint gonna try to hurt ya. Thanks...I agree, those bags are so easy to work with. Definitely worth looking in to.

@recyclingmom I'm 44...I've wanted to be in this situation for many years. Its not easy being patient. But it can really payoff. Nothing wrong at all with growing in an apartment. All of your plants will get extra special attention. I bet they'll like that and do just fine. :-)
Thanks for the info I found the bags so what size are the bags you use for the tomatoes. 5,7 or 10gallon ??

@rlopez95207 I use the 5, but it wouldn't hurt to step up to the 7, especially for an aggressive indeterminate.

Hey Bobby, just wondering how often you water your tomatoes? Mine are kind of sluggish and was wondering if I'm not watering them enough? I currently water every 3 days and the temps. are 60-65 degrees??
GardenGuy1967 1 month ago
@GardenGuy1967 At least once a day. But it depends on the weather. On a bright sunny day, they tend to need more water. I just go by what the mix feels like, and how the plants look. At 60-65, the growth will be kinda slow..that probably explains the sluggishness.

Gosh Bobby, what a green paradise around you.. This is heaven on earth for sure.. the amish paste tomato also has this type of curling leaves habit, very strange but it does produce.. I am a trencher.. : D for many years....

@dianemummvideos Thats where it really helps to know the growth habits of the individual varieties. I wouldn't have known if Bow hadn't told me. Another one that's weird is the OxHearts...like the yellow ones I'm growing. They look like weeping willows all the time, limp as noodles. I'm joining the trencher club too..at least part-time. ;-)
