  • Wow I sometimes take 4 granted my education I received as Jehovah's witness. I just assumed that everyone understood that he was talking about the gentiles and not food. to me it's common knowledge but I see now I was wrong. but it also supports my feelings about the watchtower organization, they do have true knowledge of the bible but they have also elevated themselves so as to keep people in darkness. they know the truth they feel jw are not ready for it in reality the organization is not

  • @TheShelia6 I always wondered why the JW's use Jehovah (should be Yehovah cause there is not J in Hebrew) but don't know the Hebrew name Yeshua or Y'shua which means Yah is Salvation. Next time I see a JW in their territory I'm going to show them my Aramaic NT with the YHWH in it and Y'shua as Messiah. I am would be interested to see what they would say.

  • @bridgerbergman see what? LOL

  • @egwpisteuw Ok I think you made your point very clear. I don't agree with it but at least I know exactly where you stand.

  • @egwpisteuw O.k. you can eat anything you want. I will stay with Lev 11.

  • @paulgem123 ---->So the unclean animals in the OT "represented" the unclean Gentiles. That's a new one.

    It's exactly what Acts 10-11 is telling you. The unclean foods represent the unclean Gentiles, the Gentiles are now clean and so are the foods.

  • @paulgem123 ...how great pork is "bacon it makes everything better...

    The dietary laws have always varied by dispensation:

    Gentiles - Antediluvian - Vegetarian: I have given every green plant for food Gen 1:30

    Gentiles - Postdiluvian - All Foods Clean: Every moving thing that is alive shall be food for you; I give all to you, as I gave the green plant Gen 9:3

    Israel - Mosaic Law: Kosher Dietary Laws

    Church Age - All Foods Clean

  • @egwpisteuw So the unclean animals in the OT "represented" the unclean Gentiles. That's a new one. Numbers 15:15 says that the community whether Jew or Gentile were to have one Law. The Gentiles the were fearers of YHWH just like Cornelius. I think only Oral Torah made this distinction. This brings me back to the point of this video. The door was always open to everyone who obeyed they just had men standing in the door way with traditions they replace Torah.

  • @egwpisteuw Ok that's what I'm trying to get at which ones are his and which ones are old. If you love Me, you will keep My commandments John 14:15 so is it laws are in the law of Messiah 10, 11, 12 how many? The commercials on TV say how great pork is "bacon it makes everything better" is that what you mean by a supercharged spiritual life? Did Messiah eat bacon?

  • Mar 12:28 And one of the scribes came, and hearing their argument together, and seeing that he had given them a good answer, put the question to him, Which law is the first of all?

    Mar 12:29 Jesus said in answer, The first is, Give ear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord;
