Possible war crimes tied to illegal Bush Administration torture policies may prompt a special investigation. President Obama left the door open and legal expert and constitutional scholar Jonathan Turley demanded justice in the form of a special prosecutor with the power to investigate possible war crimes committed by former President Bush and Vice President Cheney. Opinion derived from various news sources and feature from MSNBC Countdown with guest host David Shuster.

If we used torture on other people well it be fair other can use torture on us too?

  • If they don't go to jail there will be hell to pay. Of course you don't obama how can you jail your boss jackass.

  • Let's try waterboarding on Bush & Cheney and see how they feel about it afterwards.

  • @Rvrdiva Okay...What in the world? Hum....my entire family is in the military- two coronels, command sgt. major, naval commander of a nuclear sub, tank mechanic, military intel, .....Yes torture is against the law for the free world, but those who are terrorist don't follow the law...interesting...Next time you are in a place under seige, be sure you get out your "negotiation" manual and see how well that will work with them. Torture...people abuse people everyday...that is torture!

  • @katkollmer The United States does not torture. What part of that don't you understand? Because other countries act like the heinous creatures they are doesn't mean we have to follow in their footsteps. Torture is against the law!!

  • So how does this help our troopers when they are subjected to the same type of torture? Do we not understand, the enemy does not follow the NATO laws? The terrorists....what part of terror do we not understand? Why would they fall laws when they are against them? We need to support and protect our troops that protect our freedoms. Yes...it is torture, but if we follow the laws, they don't. AND they know it!

  • one year later this story sure got quiet again.......

No. 1. a; Started said war with no realistic long term plan on how to leave Iraq better than when we entered it. b; Didn't provide a shadow of the minimum as far as; How to Speak Farsi, Iraqi culture 101, and proper counter insurgency training and how to deal with POW / "detainees". c; ZERO accountability on false intelligence at best.
