Mitchell's record is up there with Sadaharu Oh's single season home run record in Japan as the single phoniest record ever. No game has been more protected than Billy and nobody has cheated more to maintain his status and had his efforts fostered more by the gaming establishment.

Billy Mitchell is a disgrace to gamers everywhere but so is the establishment that does everything in their power and beyond to make sure he maintains his status.

Personally, I think they're both overrated. I mean they're awesome gamers, but I'm just 14 and I've made it too the kill screen in Ms.Pacman, Pacman, and close in Donkey Kong. I'm talking about at the arcade, not MAME.

Wait a moment... If you don't like King of Kongs, that's fine. The documentary had a lot of flaws and half-truths; but why are you taking it out on Webie for? He put in time and effort, just like all the top players. He's one of the top Donkey Kong players in the world and he is (as of writing this) the best Donkey Kong Jr player in the world. He's earned his mark.

I just finished watching the movie, and the funny thing is I saw the ending and actually happy and i go on to see the current record and who else is there but fuckn' Billy Mitchell. Hahaha, what an asshole. but he's gained that right to be an asshole.

bull shit.look at the whole documentary.during the documentary steve beat the record,but about 5 minutes late billy showed a glitchy video. the video even showed billy's score reset to zero the it would go right back up
