Chess is shit anyway. There's what, 6 different classes, and half of them overlap in functionality. There's no choice in makeup within those forces, and one is limited to 16 pieces. The play area is small, and to top all that off, only two opponents can face off at one time. What of alliances and diplomatic relations? Chess does not simulate this. Or espionage, management of the home front, etc.. Chess is, ultimately, a travesty.
