Persona Non Grata in America 2006

4/28/06~ 13th International Performance Art Congress~ HorseCow Gallery, Sacramento ,California. This band of provartratrateurs stays individually anonymous and hails from Estonia, Peru, Argentina- all over the place. This act (caught here in pastel shades on my funky old hi-8 cam) was one of the coolest performances I have ever attended. To me it was the showpiece of a very strong show. The PNg don't believe in the mass media, and don't care aboout local art scenes. I kinda like that.My video "Dances with Fire" was also filmed at this event. Shouts out to Theo , PNG and all you wacky artists out there...I was gonna pit titles, etc,, edit the film, but I feel in its rawness, it is documentary and therefore verite, uncontrived, unretouched, so that one can observe the group in real time as I saw them that night. The act was longer than 10 minutes. Part 2 to follow. The Music was a fellow name Dirk Gail, thats him with the yellow machine on his chest. there is a tad of nudity here but no sex, its in the name of art and not getting milk on your clothes...
