The bart trains seem to sound their horn upon enterin stations. Is there a california law requiring heavy rail subway trains to sound their horn upon entering stations?

@faridjabba BART is a regional system, it rides the whole bay area, or most of it... MUNI is only local. however, BART has only 8 stations within SF, and MUNI metro has about 120 including stops, since is a mixed use, like a metro-bus, BART within SF is cheaper than MUNI, but MUNI takes you to more places

Also, the entrance/exit is located directly beside the apple store.

I remember the Powell Street Station had several conveniences. People could get access to Woolworth. the Emporium, and (not to mention) San Francisco Centre via that station.

one time you could ride from concord to embarcadaro for only 60 cents each way
I would get on Concord using a 60 cent ticket which at the time was the fare from concord to pleasant hill. i would then get out at embarcadero using my MUNI pass.
Then return, I would get on bart using my MUNI pass, travel to Pleasant hill station. get out using my 60 cent fare card. then re enter with another 60 cent fare card and travel to concord.
in all the total trip from concord to san francisco was 1.20.

The Muni is a light-rail system with some subway running. BART is separate, more like a regional rapid-transit system (hence its name), but it shares some stations (though not platforms) with Muni.
