You could try Dead Can Dance and Lisa Gerrard's "The Mirror Pool" album. I think that's what you're after, as a style. Nonetheless, Lisa Gerrard's album is a truly unique experience, in my opinion. Also, it reminds me a bit of Mari Boine Persen's stuff, even though that's a bit more ethnic.
