First of a pair of breaks that were included with a program, fairly obviously, heavily sponsored by Target. It's less apparent in the second clip.

Ever since 2003, I no longer became a fan for several reasons: They changed the 6 logo, the real voice of KFDM died (even though I never knew about it), they quit showing meteorologists in the weather center for updates, and they no longer use the newsroom during news station identification like they did in the 90s. I only watch KFDM News at Noon, that's it.

Hip Hues or Will It Blend? Also, I'm guessing that CBS was either bored, out of money for no apparent reason, or just banging random buttons in master control. Perhaps that Target button is a little more hypnotizing to them than others. And 60 Minutes II, oh, that failed badly. As for the local commercials, they really DO seem 1999ish. It has the feel of the 90's with the turn of the century very apparent in "style".
