First thing to know, TN is not curable. In most cases, if not all, it comes back w/a vengeance! I have studied thousands of cases. I am also a TN suffer, have been for 15 years. I risked Dr. Friedman performing an RF lesion surgery on me that made the pain worse, within' a few months. When I returned with to him w/this data, his reasoning was I didn't have TN, so the surgery didn't work? HUH? I think he doesn't know what he is doing or worse, really thinks that he does! I would avoid!

I just had decompression surgery on 8/11/10 in Dallas-Zale Lipshy. It was successful. I am thrilled to be free of that awful pain. Recovering from surgery is nothing next to TN pain.

@tube4625 what update, TN can come back at anytime at all. There is no real cure.

@Msgrailfish There are no good reasons for TN. It does not discriminate. But a box was accidentally thrown onto my head and I passed ou. Car Accidents will cause TN too. Be real careful with Tegretol and Neurontin. They are lethal drugs.
