delena story

i only did this in ten minutes, cause i had someone who's been asking me for a new story, so here it is... and sorry if it ain't that good.


Do you remember how we first met? I asked in a soft whisper, softly enough for only me to hear.
It my was my first day at a new school, I walked into class and everyone seemed to know everyone but me. You stood there by a seat in the front, you were so excited to be back in school, your expression of happiness caught my attention. The bell rang and everyone took their seats, I was still there just standing by the wall.
Mr. Henrie, take a seat. We are about to start. the teacher told me.
I searched for an empty seat, you waved your hand up and signed me to take the seat in front of you, I smiled and generously took the seat. I sat down, the first thing you said were Hi, Im Selena. You must be new, who are you? with a beautiful smile on your face, the face that lighted up the whole room or to me it did. Softly I said Im David.
Ever since then I knew you were the one for me. I didnt care that you had a boyfriend and somehow immediately the whole school knew i liked you, I never gave up. I waited for you for two years before we finally had our first date, and it was magical. The way how you were entertained by such little things even how graceful you are to other people, people you dont even know, you were such a beautiful person inside and out. Even back then I knew I loved you already. It wasnt long before we were officially together, we had our fights but we had our good times. I missed those times. You may not have been the best girlfriend, but to me you were perfect, and i know I wasnt the best boyfriend to you either, but you knew I tried. It was our senior year in high school, i was staying in the west and you were flying to the east. Our lives were all planned out, you were going to have such a wonderful career, and a gorgeous wife for me, and I was going to be your provider. Everything was planned. I remember, we spent almost every waking moment of that summer together, except for that one night, that night I knew I shouldnt have left you. I remember that night, and get flashbacks every night, Selena, Im so sorry. We were at party, we were having fun. The time flew by and suddenly it was already two in the morning we both had to go home, you drove me home, and thats when it all went wrong. You were only three blocks away from your own home and i never knew something that horrid couldve happened. The minute your mom called me that you were in the hospital, everything flashed back to my head, i was in shocked of what she told me, i had to come see you, and when i got there all i saw were white cold walls of the hospital and a faint cry from your father and a louder cry from your mother. Quietly I said Mr. Gomez? Your dad slowly looked up at me, stopped his crying and nodded his head. I, myself nearly broke down about to cry. I asked if I could see you, they let me, I slowly took down the white thin blanket the hospital had, and there you were bruised up from the accident. Selena, if only i knew that there was a drunk driver that night, i wouldve had you stay the night with me, if only i told you to stay with me, you wouldve still been alive. I know your parents told me not to blame myself, and accidents really do happen, i just cant help myself but think if you had stayed with me, you would still be alive and we couldve been together for a much longer time. Now here I am sitting next to your gravestone, Im still here, loving you, and i will always for the rest of my life.
