It's the View: North

This is one of four video loops I'll be showing for Olympia's Arts Walk - Friday, Oct 2nd, 5pm-10pm - as part of my 4-channel/mixed-media installation, IT'S THE VIEW, at the MIXX 96 Conference Room (corner of State and Washington).

This particular version of "North" features a song by Sedan, and is for the upcoming Olympia Film Festival's "Locals Only" program, showing sometime in early November 2009.

The one-night Fall Arts Walk show is comprised of four large TVs and a mixed-media centerpiece. A monitor is situated by each of the four cardinal directions, and each video loop shows a different view of Olympia. Each of the short photo-mation/time-lapse pieces is comprised of over a thousand photographs, shot hand-held, and edited in-camera.
