Although this practice is mostly unethical. Why is it that over 9 billion animals in the United States alone are killed annually. Has there been a fair punishment for that?

I'm not religious, I believe in science however if you believe there was a purpose for the earthquake why would it have targeted somewhere 600 km away + the town was not damaged. Instead the dolphins trapped in the nets / pens were thrown about against the rocks. The tsunami effected the dolphins, not Taiji.

this is cruel, there is no getting around it. however i will say that if people move so quickly to stop the killing of dolphins then we should also move to stop other brutal killings elsewhere around the world too. it isn't really fair to pin down japan as the 'great evil' when our own histories are probably, if not deffinatly, just as brutal. i know it's wishful thinking but if possible i wish for all brutal killings of animals around the world to stop.

That's a dishonorable act of speciesism.

I agree that the world can't become vegetarian, but these animals aren't killed by getting caught in a net and crushed up against their fellow fish. They don't experience their eyes popping out of their skull or their guts bursting through their gills while alive. More dolphins are harmed in the harvesting of seafood than the driveHunts shown on this video.

Tsunami harms the dolphins trapped in the nets by the shore,you want God to do that?
