This is my new mid-range gaming pc build. I know all the hardware is not top of the line, i'm not rich like you might be. I looked for stuff that was a good bang for your buck and if your a casual gamer like I am, then the 4770 might just be the right choice for you. You REALLY get more performance than what you pay for with the 4770.
My rig is:
AMD Phenom X4 920
Asus Formula 4770 512MB GDDR5
4GB OCZ Gaming RAM DDR2
Gigabyte Motherboard
Antec 300 w/ glowing front fans
Sound blaster XtremeGamer
Windows Vista Ultimate x64
Samsung T240 HD 24" 1080P
Saitek Eclipse II
Razer DeathAdder
Feel free to ask any questions and leave some comments.
i have the same graphics card but i got the xfx version.
4gb ram
and intel core 2 duo 2.66ghz (clocked to 3.0ghz)
and i play Call of duty black ops. without lag or stuttering on "high" graphics.
it doesn't matter if you are rich mate ;) you got a really nice rig in my opinion,
if you gonna upgrade later on, first try clocking the gpu(graphic proccessing unit) or cpu (comp. proccessing unit (the processor) ) a bit, it have a great effect and saved my core 2 duo from being replaced by a quad core.
