Two ET's Captured in Varginha, Brazil?

The 1996 Varginha UFO incident has become a staple in modern UFO folklore. The story involves two creatures spotted by dozens of witnesses throughout the Brazilian city of Varginha, on January 20th, 1996.

One was allegedly captured by a police officer using his bare hands and another by local firemen.

Although the story is very interesting and has elevated Varginha to the status of Brazil's "Roswell", Brazilian officials deny any knowledge of these events taking place.

Due to the story's popularity, the city had pondered the idea of dedicating a park to the folkloric creatures - but ultimately decided against it.
