Have you watched Code Geass? If not, I really suggest you to watch it if you enjoy watching anime like Death Note, with adventure, lots of smart and hot guys (mmm) lots of bloodshed and action. Not to mention robot type machinery. For the girls, there's also a tad of romance in there, but it's not the dominant genre.
