This club has got two prestigious projects under the names of Inland Fisheries in Bangladesh (IFB) and the other Integrated Farming in Bangladesh (IFIB). These two projects were financed by The Rotary Foundation (TRF) under 3H-Grant namely Health, Hunger and Humanity. The Rotary club of Comilla with financial assistance from The Rotary Foundation of Rotary International, launched a five year project in 1984 under the name Inland Fisheries in Bangladesh (IFB). The project aimed at facilitating establishment of 171 fish-fry Nurseries, one in each union in Comilla district. 250 Nurseries were established by 1987 of which 50 were improvised hatcheries. A large number of fish culturists were trained in improved fish culture. Encouraged by the success of the fish-project, the club again with financial assistance from The Rotary Foundation launched a project on Integrated Farming for promotion of Livestock, Poultry-birds, Horticulture & Silviculture along with fish culture.
