Herb Martinez or the line doctor, as he is called by his fans is a living legend with over 50 years experience.
Since the age of 12 he has been dedicated to pinstriping, which led him to start his own pinstriping and custom paint company at a very young age.
To numerous movie vehicles and stage props Herb Martinez put the final finishing paintbrush touch, amongst them being „Best of Times" with Kurt Russel and Robin Williams.
He has been contracted by movie studios including, 20th Century Fox, Lions Gate, Universal, MGM and most recently Pixar where his painting talents leant to the distinct look of the pinstripe design adorning the back of "Sally", for the animated Walt Diseny movie „Cars". Over the years, his talents taking him far beyond his own studio, Mr. Martinez has traveled the world showcasing and teaching his unique style and impeccable technique.

Herbs exclusive pinstripe designs have also been featured on a multitude of classic automobiles, appearing in all major automotive publications, not only in the United States, but also in Europe, Japan and Australia.

His talents also lent him to creating pinstripe designs for shoes, purses, and boots for
Betties.
Katharina and bubbly Herb immediately made friends at the SEMA Show 2010. Herb was so excited and convinced by the quality of Katharina´s „KK colors paints" that he decided to support Katharina on her tour throughout Germany, Austria and Switzerland while performing his own pinstriping workshop tour in Europe 2011.
He has also authored two books on pinstriping: „Pinstripe Planet" and „Guide to Pinstriping". The foreward to the latter has been written by Herb´s best friend and Hollywood´s best kept secret Eddie Paul.
