HOW IT ALL STARTED

RANDOLPH STEAL, megalomaniac billionaire, king of the tabloid industry bought-up and transformed newsman HARRY BROADHEAD's once successful legit print newspaper into www.StealMedia.com, THE Internet Tabloid Sensation! Journalism be damned!

Never let the facts get in the way of a good story!

While most of Steal's stories are lies, fabrications and half-truths - the one rare "real" news item that he ALMOST published had to do with the 'supposed' crash of an alien spaceship. The only evidence of the "third kind" encounter was a rubbery-metallic suit found at the crash site. Steal assumed that the whole event was a hoax perpetrated by jealous rivals: He'd report a report of the crash and be publicly humiliated when it was revealed as a hoax. So without a moment's hesitation Steal killed the story and discarded the alien artifact.

Recently fired chief-editor HARRY BROADHEAD retrieved the alien suit from the dumpster and kept it as a souvenir. The seventy year-old Broadhead no longer fit with Steal's vision of modern investigative journalism and was 'dismissed' several weeks prior to the "alien event".

When schoolmates Amy and Indie learned about the extra-terrestrial suit from Broadhead - Indie's uncle, Amy set about figuring out the secret to making the alien device work.




Now, Randolph Steal has a new problem to deal with. This "Mike Rochip" has a bad habit of exposing his schemes -- often, even stopping them before they happen.

But he also has a more personal reason to stop Mike:

He knows that Broadhead is the brains behind the operation, though he can't figure out how. He'd written off Broadhead as an over-the-hill has-been, living in the previous century. But Broadhead was caught by a security camera, rescuing that infernal alien costume from the dumpster!

Ironically, Steal has no idea that Indie and Amy are the real master-minds behind what's going on...

Good for geting an idea of how a full cartoon might look. Idea is very relevant in today's environment, given recent reports on the media's role in certain events
