cello needs work on false harmonics, but overall pretty good.

yeah, if only people knew how hard leaping around on artificial harmonics is :D Shostakovich must have fallen out with a certain cellist the day he wrote this :P

Not just the cellist, the piano could use some work as well.
The version from the armenian conservatory is much better

pretty original beginning in this trio with the low sounding cello on the high registers and the high sounding violins on the low registers. joyful and harmonoiusly happy 1st movement!

Outstanding- this piece is the epitome of melancholy. The cellist is great- false harmonics are a real pain to play.
