God calls what you will witness in the imagery of this video 'the fall'. But the actual song is about Gods perfect creation "In the beginning."

You will have to listen through the album(Gungor - Ghosts upon the earth) to catch this and honestly if you don't you're missing out.

Rarely do 'musicians' these days, especially in popular culture, tell a cohesive story from beginning to end in their albums.

This album is one of those albums, so if you plan on listening or have listened to this song please take the time to sit down in a room or go on a long walk and listen straight through this 'cinematic' masterpiece.

As always if you can't afford the album, please don't steal it, i'll buy it for you.

Grace and Peace

Lyrics

Standing up from crags and clay
The peaks of earth
In full display
They break the lines
That break the sky
That's full of life
Full of life

The chaos of creation's dance
A tapestry, a symphony
Of life himself
Of love herself
It's written in our very skin

All praises to the one who made it all
Who made it all
All praises to the one who made it all
And finds it beautiful

Soil is spilling life to life
Stars are born
To fill the night
The ocean's score
The majesty
Of sculpted shore
Mystery

All praises to the one who made it all
Who made it all
All praises to the one who made it all
And finds it beautiful
[x2]

Fearfully and wonderfully and beautifully made [x4]

  • although this song is unspeakably beautiful i can't help but think that this video doesn't capture the entire meaning of the song...although creation is incredibly beautiful. Where is humanity in this video? where is the baby? the foetus? the child? the teen? the adult? the grandpa? etc. i understand that the artist is a landscape photographer...but its just a shame to me that this video could've been so much more poignant, moving and convey more of the song's (and psalm 139's) original meaning

  • @tomrogers1990 forgive me for not knowing the song was referring to psalm 139.. I thought it was referring to creation 'in the beginning' .. I still think the video works regardless :) I'm no professional here.. just a person who loves God.. God bless..
