@Zayjerks13 Well, first you have to look at the snow on the ground. That would let you know that it was in the winter time when he filmed this. Trees start to lose their leaves in the fall and all throughout the winter, they stay dead looking until spring when they blossom again. So anyway, what I'm getting at is that's why it looks depressing.
