  • That collage mask thing was inspired by David Hockney, maybe?

  • Not quite even though Hockney does similar work. The collages in Six Feet Under were inspired by (or rather derived directly from) the work of David Meanix. :o)

  • Very cool idea. I'm happy somebody decided to do this. Where did you manage to find all of these images?

I don't remember Blue Pajama Man or the Dollhouse.

  • I found the images on the HBO website which also tells you about the real life artists who created the pieces - quite interesting. :o)

The pajama man is the first thing Claire ever created, and Ruth digs it up to show to her that she was already an artist when she was little.

The dollhouse is something Claire created just for herself, and she ends up talking about it only to Nate as he walks in on her just as she's looking at her finished work. Quite a beautiful scene... :o)

  • That was awesome!! Where did you get stills of those? I just remember seeing them in passing on the show? Too cool!! I always loved that picture of Ruth in the kitchen...but the dollhouse was the best!! "Dad's not here." Brought it all back....that was neat-o.

  • Ryan, sorry for taking so long to respond...

The stills are available on the HBO website - or used to be anyway. I was thrilled when I discovered them as well. :o)
