I love that church because when my wife and I were down on our luck a couple of times they would offer us a box of food. Btw, my dad lived in that area in the early to mid 50's on ash, spruce, and a part of brooklyn st. that was where the fisher freeway is now.........

.... And yes, my father was at least half irish. My great grandparents were irish but my grandfather was english and that helped to break up the irish bloodline. I love corktown though I never lived there and it seems to be one of the few intact neighborhoods left in detroit. Great video, thumbs up.
