Street Fighter IV - "Chun Li's Theme" (Fanmade Theme)

Move aside Mario (for the time being! ;p)

Thought it was about time to do something with a bit more of an Asian influence, so here is a FANMADE theme for the upcoming Street Fighter IV game!

It comprises a melody with a string ostinato that are played around and varied a bit, on top of lots of traditional ethnic percussion and a cool modern percussion break beat.

What ya think? ;) It's a bit retro as it should be IMHO, but also fully orchestrated and forward-looking.

One of these days I'd like to hear Street Fighter themes that lack electronic instruments completely but.....this sounds pretty good even though it doesnt have much to do with Chun Li's theme. Sounds like it might come out of an old Nintendo or newer Sonic game.

This is seriously great work. You really captured the essence of the character and did her theme full justice without simply re-mixing the original.
