Planetgonenuts, you don't understand flamenco and this is pretense at best. This player's technique is an "incredible" disjointed mishmash.

I usually don't get too worked up over people pretending they are something they are not, but this is not flamenco in any way, shape or form. This is nothing but poorly executed crap. Did he actually have an audience that applauded? Youtube offers a wealth of great flamenco, from traditional to modern, but this is something else.

This is yet another case of people thinking they can play flamenco and actually fooling other people into believing them(planetgonenuts for example). Any real flamenco you speak to would be freaked out by this an tell you it was not good. Where is the compas and the technique simply isn't there. For real flamenco look up Paco de lucia, tomatito, nino ricardo, sabicas and then come back here and say that this was good.

Suena así porque imita a Manitas de Plata, pero Manitas sonaba mucho mejor, con todo y sus fallas. Escuchen unas "Alegrías clásicas" de Manitas de Plata y verán que imita mucho de su estilo. y Aqui incluso sale tocándo por rumba. -Este es un flamenco distinto, pero no del sonido y calidad de Paco Peña, Juan Martin, Paco de Lucía, Serranito, Manolo Sanlúcar, Moraíto, etc. -Cuando hace picados rápidos, se le "enredan" las cuerdas, suena como que si se le empalman las notas unas sobre otras.

It is only my opinion but I think a person might consider themselves lucky and skilled if they could do with both hands, what this guy does with one. Excellance and with vibrance! Like a wild gypsy he plays with emotion! Not another memorex copy artist!
