For the Stranger Festival in Rotterdam we did a 20 minutes during live performance.
We came up with the theme "Streaming video", for example sites like 'You Tube'. They have changed how society is responding on important issues like privacy, freedom of speech, etc. We divided this in 4 subgenres: news/reality, film/fiction, securitycameras/privacy and the internet itself (The privacy part is shown in this movie)
For each subgenre we created multiple different samples that were projected all around the stage. This in combination with dancers at the sides, standing in front of LED screens while being projected on them, the mane outcome is exactly like streaming video: so much to see, so much to experience that you don't know where to look! Like a rush through modern society.
After the samples were made we added the music to it, so that the video and music elements were exactly sinc. with each other.
For the video content we worked together with "Warped" (Chok-Wah Man), and the music was composed by Autonon (Peter van Drunen).
