Spirit Of Our Nation was written by Jonathan Butler & David Batteau in 2004. It's on Jonathan Butler's Jonathan cd. One of the perks for this song, is that Jodie Butler, Jonathan's daughter, is lead vocalist. Jonathan plays guitars and percussions on this number. Mr. Butler, has displayed such beautiful choices in the percussions he chose to use on this number. Eric Valentine is featured on drums. David Diggs, handles with finesse, both keyboards and string arrangements. Jodie Butler, Kurt Lykes, and Antonio Sol are the background vocalists. This cd was released by Rendezvous Music.
Spirit Of Our Nation is the 2md part of the Spirit Trilogy that I have prepared for upload. I hope that all three will be allowed. Note that though themes are common, each set of musicians accomplish their task in their unique methods of expression. Mr. Veasley, in Spirit Walk, maintained a very up tempo, while Mr Butler, has a pensive, yet dynamic rhythm.

This song was originally published in 2004. There's no telling, in my opinion, if another choir has done this song.
