I've worked with primates at a refuge for neglected or abandoned primates. They should NOT be pets. They can be kept by caregivers who are very educated in various species of Class 2 primates and know how to establish their needs and enrich their lives. This monkey is clearly keeping the cat captive for company. These are not two domesticated animals playing around inside for mutual enjoyment. Wake up or shut up.

@nz8nz8nz8 Keeping animals as pets is not animal cruelty. If you think this is anywhere near beating animals brutally (which actually is animal cruelty) you're fucking retarded. Having an animal as a pet is not animal cruelty, In fact, you're almost guaranteeing it a longer life span and a healthier life overall. The reason people make it so there pets can't get away is because once you have a domestic animal, it NEEDS human attention, it doesn't know how to survive on its own in the wild.
