There is a new novel out about the Stone of Destiny. It has a ton of information regarding the stone's history. It even guesses where the real stone might be today.

GREAT movie.
As the retrieval of the Scotts stolen stone was taking place I was nervous myself. Dreading the appearance of the police or Abbey's security.
Braveheart of modern times so to say.

@segano1 Also you said "may of the Yanks or Canucks I've heard shockingly believe themselves to be more Scottish than those that are actually native to Scotland, so how does that work?" I have seen some Yanks who are 5% irish claim they are just as equal Irish as they are to People born IN ireland. Nae i just consider myself a half scot :P

@segano1 I am a "yank" but i am soon throwing off my Yankee title. In 4 short years i move tae scotland, i am joining the military after college. I play the bagpipes and wear my familys kilt :) I am 50% scottish 12.5 Irish 12.5 German and 12.5 Italian. Alba Gu Brath!

I loved the movie.
What I can't understand is why everyone accuses it of anglophobia.
They never said: "THE ENGLISH ARE TERRIBLE PEOPLE!", and I'm pretty good at reading through the lines. There was no hint to such an idea.
The wish to be independent is not xenophobia.
