@MegaAngryChicken The entire song is an extended metaphor: the "home" he's talking about is the sorrow and depression... Once you're into it, it is easy to get used to it, it feels familiar like your own home, and soon it's frightening to look outside, at the happiness of the rest of the world. You start to lock yourself in your sorrow / "home", and you know that even if you try to get out (= be happy) for a while, you'll get back to your home soon.

This song is exactly what I feel right now. I'm neither depressed nor am I happy with my life. My life feels so empty, there's nothing in my heart, I can't feel anything other than sadness and frustration. I'm too scared to be happy, just cause I know that the happiness will end someday somehow. I'm scared to love other people, be it my family, friends or lovers, I'm scared to open up and let them in, I'm afraid that when I open up and love them, they will leave me and break my heart to pieces..

The depression I've been feeling has been deep for the past few years. From 9 up my life has been hell. From the bullying to the hatred, its all there and its killing me. This song represents EVERYTHING I've been through. I always stay home in my house and rarely go outside. I don't even know how to have fun or joke around without being serious. Tablo is an amazing artist and relates SO well with his fans. I love him and every song he has written and rapped. I love you, Tablo. <3'

You know what you say is true!! People do leave!! But don't be scared to love someone just because you think they will leave sooner or later!! Love them while you can, be happy even though if it's for a short time!! It's true happiness doesn't last, but saddness doesn't last eather!! Telling someone that you love them can make you feel so much better!! Give people a reasone to stay and show them your love!! It's just .. life is so short to waste it on being sad and depressed ..
