With the controversy surrounding former Padrino, Osvaldo Rios, LUL asks parade-goers (including NY State Assemblyman Adam Clayton Powell IV) about domestic violence in the Latino community. Is it a problem? Are we more prone to it because of the "machismo" in our culture?

Good work on the domestic violence video, it was pretty dope. I feel like the main reason it still occurs these days is because of the patriarchal society we live in. Media feeds this idea that women can be objectified and as a result we are conditioned to believe things like that as kids and grow up to present those same ideas.
