wow! one tip! this is so helpful! omg!
protip: use your thigh muscles BEFORE your calves. that means you apply force forward on your upper body first(against the ground), then lift off the floor with the calves. if you use the calves first, your thigh muscles would be completely useless since you'd be off the ground by then.
