ACTUALLY did more research he said only 2 lives lost and in 1949 storm that hit ft lauderdale directly and got palm beach and miami too, was the kicker, as the 1949 storm was the only south florida storm in the 40's to only loose 2 lives- so its probably not king in 1950 or the 1947- as dozens were killed then

THIS IS EITHER HURRICANE KING IN OCTOBER 1950 as it hit from miami to palm beach and up the coast as a cat 3 storm,,,,,or of the Sept 1945 Storm as most pics of both are centered around miami and one part of video has cat 2+ winds, and the 1945 storm ripped apart hangars at homestead bases just south of miami, it still could be also 1947 but the '47 storm was very intense so??

How was camille effect sebastian florida i wasnt born in 1969 my mom tells me that it wiped out homes and casino on the beach in sebastian and a restaurant waves took it but camille hit alabama head on the eye did long way from florida the eye but it did a lot of damage irrevocable not fixable their lives either

Gravel roofs were popular in those days, but during hurricane Cleo (1964) our car's paintwork was pitted with gravel marks from gravel blown off the roof!
