my condolences but do the children holding the baby know its deceased? Thats a bit scary for them. I wouldnt be able to smile holding a stillborn...neither would anyone I know. Its so sad

The children holding him are his sisters. They knew and it was not scary for them at all. It actually helped in the grieving process. My whole family was there to support us and everyone held him and loved him. You do not know what you would be able to do in this type of situation until you are in it. I hope you never have to go through what I and countless of others parents have.

i'am so sorry for the loss of your son keegan.. that is my son's name he was a preemie, he was 1lb and 7oz... this really hit home for me to watch this ... i'am so sorry. you and your family have a very special angel watching over you...your in my prayers.

i understand what you are saying...it was a valid question because you didn't know. some people are rude. i am sure you would be in shock, but it is true it is amazing what you do in a time such as this. god bless this family and little keegan. such an angel. x

Its called life. Any professional counselor would tell you it is very heathy for the siblings to hold the baby and say goodbye. You cant just sweep the birth and death under the rug now that would be more scary for them as they would not understand. Also it is beatiful that they have pics smiling with the baby. Life isnt always easy. I know I would take a pic smiling with the baby. Its a beautiful video and a beatiful family and to the mom Im so sorry for your loss I loved the video!

Whoever sent a thumbs down to my comment...my heart goes out to this wonderful family on the loss of their precious child. Smiling still would be hard...I would be in such shock.
