Pair of Hearts Magnetic Homopolar Motor

A pair of copper Hearts spin in the magnetic field of a large bass speaker.

The homopolar motor is the simplest form of electric motor.

Here, two simple homopolar motors are shown blending into a new shape.

if the experiment was done on nothern hemisphere, did anybody repeat it on southern hemisphere ? what is expected regarding direction of spin ??

Spin would be in the same direction due to the strong magnetic forces from the magnet which does not change..
