sorry to call your bluff, but do you have the statistics?

i mean just becuase its glamorised by the media doesnt mean it happens more often.

plus correlation does not always mean causation

@kellogscornsnake No, just personal experience, I've seen a lot more of that kind of thing with my own eyes from teens than adults, but I guess you just have my word and you've no reason to take it. No, correlation doesn't mean dausation, but people will think so because that's the way the human mind works, it categorizes things. That's why we, just like black Americans a hundred years ago were singled out, why gays were hated, people are naturally dumb and the mind takes the easy way out.

"It is simply fact that large groups of teens hanging around the town center or a street in hoodies is intimidating and worrying for some, especially the older generation."

well the should stop being so fucking ignorant. humans are social creatures, its natural for us to be in groups, just because people are in groups doesnt mean there going to attack people, wether the group is made up of 15-25 year olds, or 45-55 year olds or 75-85 year olds

They are not being ignorant, it is also human nature to be afraid and large groups of young people can appear tthreatening even when its innocent.

It is not those peoples fault they feel that way, its the fault of the government for not coming down hard on the minority of young people who do cause trouble.

well some middle age people commit crime, so why arent people afraid of groups of middle age people?

Well large groups of any age groups will concern some at certain times, but there are more examples of young groups attacking people than a large group of 60 year olds.

The police really seem to give me and my friends a go when we are questioned about something. They innapropriatly swear and innapropriatly threaten us and we don't even threaten or swear at them. If anyone is here is the bad group of people its the police.

I'm 14, to be honest from what I seen of the News statements I though most of them were true except the one about knife crime. I live in the Scottish Borders
