Remember summer last year? Remember the 'mystery packages' phenomenon? Remember how a million views, votes, videos and comments countered the media's stereotyping of the 'yoof'? Then you'll remember the bloggers who rallied behind the campaign - and the RNLI who championed our generation. 'Shout!' is a tribute to who we really are - a film by youth about the youth for the youth. It'll play beyond YouTube on campuses across the country - and we hope you'll spread it too. Unfortunately many people have narrow minded outlooks on certain "types" of people.
I'm involved with the RNLI too , and other volunteer services. But I still get looked at with disdain and mistrust , by certain people , when I'm wearing a bandanna , with my piercings in , and getting off my Harley chopper. 3/4 of "jo public" just haven't got a clue !

People often judge based on the most outlandish features...age over intellect, color over personality...It's not fair, and it hurts people.

This is great :) ... But yes people do carry knifes.. And i feel pressured sometimes and feel like i need to have a knife because others do, im not a thug :) i love my family and friends and i wanna make something of my life :) Im 16 so yer.
and we really do get alot of bad stuff from the media lol

The young people that I meet are just fab. They care for families and friends and are hardworking and want to succeed to become valuable members of society. Please don't judge a book by its cover.
