Actually, Dr. Pearl Williams Jones was THE creator of this; she passed a year before Richard Smallwood recorded this.

This is actually Richard Smallwood's arrangement of this classic hymn. The under-lying piano melody is a Bach original, but the combination of the classical piece with the hymn in this manner is Richard's doing. His inspiration was Dr. Pearl Williams Jones, here in Washington, DC. Richard recorded this on his 1992 "Testimony" album.
