2008 Impala SS Flowmaster Exhaust

After removing the idle BS with an HP Tuner this is the result of just doing flowmaster and 3" tips, I will also be removing the Resonator, since I have removed the DOD (4cyl) crap.

i'm looking into having an hp tuner soon, what all engine specs did you change your perimeters on?

I changed alot of settings. Timing and fuel curves, shift points, and stiffness, removed tm, etc...

Yes the HPTuner allows you to change everything. A little known secret is that you can also change what throws an engine light and what doesn't.....no cat anyone?

@beznich I know this was a year a go but anyone who knows the difference between deleting a code and clearing a code, knows about the egr, cat, etc. code removal/delete. Now, you need to just lower your idle speed, make chug lol

@villicana1989 yeah it will definitely be louder and u will lose a little more low end torque, but u will gain on the high end. I have a 3.5l v6 with a flowmaster super44 and resonator delete that im gonna make duals soon

@KJBPj You can split any exhaust into dual. Just make sure there is cats before the 02 sensors. I did with my truck and ran just fine. I wouldn't do true dual though x pipe it or h pipe it.

i also have the flowmasters on my ss but i havent removed the DOD if i delete the res will it sound louder(which is what i want) or will it give it a nasty sound??

Question,does anybody make headers for this engine in this car? Two,can you spit this into true duals without confusing the computer?And third ,how do you remove the dod crap and how much is the tuner?

Don't you have to go through the computer and all that bs to remove the idle limiter?
