Vampire Chronicles Dream Cast

This is my dream cast, if they were ever to make another movie based on Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles. Yes, I know some of them are impossible, and some you will probably not agree with, but this a completely hypothetical situation. I hope all you Rice fans out there will enjoy this anyway!

By the way, I thought Tom Cruise was an excellent Lestat, too. Never would have thought it in a million years...couldn't even picture him with blond hair...but you're right, with the camera angles and all, he didn't look short and he acted PERFECT! And Brad Pitt will forever be My Louis!

All but the little midget Tom Cruise playing a 6' Lestat. In Interview he was as short as Claudia.

Well, I actually thought he looked just fine in the movie. With the angles of the shots, he looked hardly any shorter than Brad Pitt. But nonetheless, his acting was superb, and that is far more important than fitting physical characteristics (at least when it comes to major characters).

wow you have some of the same choices i have...(laura prepon as jesse) i love some of your choices like michelle pfeiffer, sir ian, benji and the girl you chose for baby jenks: AWESOME. but the rest is kinda....i dont know. check my casting and let me know what you think. with a couple of changes on mine. CLAUDIA: dakota fanning, and MONA MAYFAIR: emily browning.

Thanks for the input! Personally, I think Dakota Fanning is much too old, which is why I chose Elle. Emily Browning is a decent choice, though wouldn't be my first pick.

id love it if tom cruise played lestat again, he was wonderful. Anne rice however would like Robert downey jr as lestat. he is a great actor, but i just can't picture him as lestat.

Queen Of The Damned is not one of my favorite movie, but it had a great cast... kinda. I don't like the actor for David, and the actresses for Maharet and Jesse. Anyway, I think the actor for Lestat was better than Tom Cruise, because you know, he was supposed to look 25 :P And Aaliyah was pretty great too.

...and a coincidence, I have always imagined Meryl Streep as Gabriellle! x) But your election is awesome too. And Baby Jenks = PERFECT!

Great job- you could pass as a Raven yourself! Most of the actors were too. Although I may disagree with some choices I do find some I hadn't thought of were well-chosen and even changed a few of my own choices. Virgo Mortensen would make a brilliant Thornevald.
