I had just come out of a 36 mile solo hike in Yosemite, when my cars transmission finally died just shy of 368,000 miles. Just bought a 99 Forester with 144,000 miles.

  • Oh I have a question! I just bought a subaru legacy from 1999 and it has 114,000 miles and I want to know how you managed to get so many miles out of your car. I would like to know some tips on how to make my car last as long as yours, because I want my car to last 200,000 miles atleast. Thank you.

    :)

  • major bummer. I have an outback, but it's a few hundred thou behind yours

  • My family goes to Yosemite every year. One year about 2 hours before Shabbos, the two right tires blow out. Thankfully we were actually staying in the park, so we left the key for AAA and hitch hiked to our cabin.

  • short hair! i like.

  • Get a new transmission, it'll be awesome.

  • Bunt.
